Ciro Immobile Cavaliere, an Italian professional footballer, serves as a striker and captain for both Serie A club Lazio and the Italy national team. Immobile’s football journey began at Sorrento and later led him to Juventus in 2009.

He was subsequently loaned out to three Serie B clubs, including Pescara, where he emerged as the top scorer and helped the team secure the league title. In 2012, he joined Genoa before moving to Torino, where he claimed the prestigious Capocannoniere award for being the top scorer in Serie A.

Following his successful stint at Torino, Immobile was transferred to Borussia Dortmund in 2014 for approximately €18 million. During his time with the German club, they clinched the DFL Supercup.

In 2015, he made a move to Sevilla in Spain. However, in 2016, he returned to Torino on loan before eventually being sold to Lazio in July of the same year. At Lazio, Immobile has achieved remarkable milestones, including winning a Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana titles. He currently holds the record for the highest number of goals scored in the history of the club.

Immobile’s second season at Lazio proved to be exceptional as he secured the Capocannoniere title for the second time, netting 29 goals in 33 games. The 2019-20 season marked the peak of his career, as he equalled the record for the most Serie A goals in a single season with 36.

He also claimed his third Capocannoniere title and was awarded the prestigious European Golden Shoe, recognizing him as the top scorer in Europe. In 2022, he secured his fourth Capocannoniere title, scoring 27 goals in 31 games. Currently, he holds the eighth position in the all-time list of Serie A top scorers.

Immobile made his debut for the Italy senior team in 2014 and has represented his country in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, as well as the UEFA European Championships in 2016 and 2020. Notably, he was part of the squad that emerged victorious in the latter tournament.
