She said that during that summer, Ray allegedly dictated her eating and sleeping pattern, which significantly deteriorated her financial status.
Drury continued by saying that he routinely made her stay up late working. Drury claimed that throughout the event, she shed 40 kg in just three weeks.
Drury said that Ray “encouraged” her to have sex with other people once she got back to New York, nudged her in the direction of BDSM norms, and reportedly forced her to put up with him.
In his testimony during the Ray trial, Drury argued Ray’s case by telling the jury, “With clients, I knew if I begged them to halt, they might cease.”
On April 6, 2022, Larry Ray, the leader of an extramarital cult, was found guilty on all counts, including extortion and trafficking in extramarital services.
After Claudia Drury and numerous other victims testified that Ray used psychological tricks to trick them, Ray was found guilty.
