Sir Cliff Richard is a British singer who holds dual citizenship in Britain and Barbados. With over 250 million albums sold worldwide, he is one of the best-selling music artists of all time.

With a total of over 21.5 million singles sold, he is the third-selling artist in the history of the UK Singles Chart after The Beatles and Elvis Presley.

Cliff Richard was born in British India at King George’s Hospital (now KGMU Hospital) on Victoria Street in Lucknow, which was part of British India at the time. Roger Oscarweb, manager of the Indian Railways catering business, and his mother, Dorothy Marie Daysley, were his parents.

His parents also temporarily lived in Howrah, West Bengal. They decided to move to England forever after the violence on Direct Action Day. Richard was primarily of British descent but was half Welsh, half Spanish great-grandmother, and the daughter of a Spanish great-grandmother named Emilin Joseph Lebeiro.

Webb lived in a small house in McBarra near the wonderful commercial center of Hazelrat Ganj. Dorothy’s mother worked as a caretaker at La Martiniere Girls’ School.

After India’s independence in 1947, the family sailed a three-week voyage on SS Ranki to Tilbury, Essex, England.

Webbs has moved from a company-provided apartment in Howrah, near Kolkata, from a relatively wealthy location in India to a semi-detached home in Carshalton. Harry Webb attended Stanley Park Jr., a local elementary school in Carshalton, north of Sally.

His father got a job at Thorn Electrical Industries’ credit management office in 1949, and his family began to live with other relatives in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire.

Hargreaves closed in 1950 at a nearby Cheshunt. From 1952 to 1957 he attended Cheshunt Secondary School. (Following the renovation and renaming of Bishop Three School, the school was renamed Rivers Mead School.)

He stayed above the minimum age to complete the GCE Normal Level Exam and was a top-class member of English Literature.
