American football wide receiver Cole Dickson Beasley was born on April 26, 1989, and he is now a free agent. He was a Southern Methodist University football player in college before being signed as an undrafted free agent by the Dallas Cowboys in 2012.

Beasley attended Little Elm High School, where he played quarterback as an option and twice helped the Lobos get to the Texas UIL-4A finals. With 1,184 running yards, 12 rushing touchdowns, 1,570 passing yards, and 12 touchdowns, Beasley was named the district’s co-MVP. Rivals.com gave him a two-star recruit rating. Beasley took a scholarship offer from Southern Methodist University, where he switched to wide receiver, played in 11 games with seven starts, finished third on the team with 42 receptions for 366 yards and three touchdowns, and was given the opportunity to play there.
