Cong promises special category status to Andhra

Amaravati, Oct 4 (IANS) The Congress party, whenever casted a ballot to control at the Middle in 2024, will accord unique classification status to Andhra Pradesh, said senior pioneer Jairam Ramesh on Tuesday.

He said the party would remain by the responsibility made to Andhra Pradesh at the hour of its bifurcation in 2014.

He was conversing with journalists alongside Oommen Chandy, Digvijaya Singh and other senior pioneers at Kurnool after a survey of the plans for party pioneer Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra which is booked to enter Andhra Pradesh on October 18.

“On the off chance that we get a command in 2024 and assuming that the Congress party delegate turns into the Top state leader, the primary mark will be on conceding exceptional classification status to Andhra Pradesh,” he said.
