“Conor was a good man. He immediately got a laugh from the class. Conor, may you rest in peace. We will miss you and think of you. After making his Championship debut for Clare in a game in June 1973 and winning two National Hurling League medals, Ger, his father, led the Banner to two All-Ireland and three Munster titles.

Conor will be laid to rest in Illaunmanagh Cemetery following the burial service on Saturday at noon at Shannon’s St. John and Paul Church.

According to Conor’s grieving family, he was “sadly lamented by his grieving parents, Mary and Ger, his brother Barry, his beloved nephews Harry and Aaron, and niece Neila.” They added, “Conor’s aunts, uncles, cousins, coworkers, and many friends will deeply miss and remember him.

Conor Loughnane’s cause of death

Conor Loughnane’s cause of death has not yet been determined, but we will learn the final findings once the coroner has finished examining the body.
