Ross Harris, on November 14, 2016, was found guilty of first-degree cruelty, malice murder and felony murder together with other charges even though he pleaded it was a tragic accident.
He was then sentenced to life in prison. Ross Harris is currently imprisoned at Macon State Prison.

According to police reports, Cooper Harris died of heat stroke, a condition of severe heat illness that is caused by a body temperature above 40°C.
He was left strapped in the rear-facing car seat of his father’s SUV for about seven hours.
To police investigations, Ross Harris was involved in an extramarital affair with multiple women and it was glaring he wanted to live a childfree life.
