Craig Wayne Farrell, who was born on December 5, 1982, died on May 30, 2022. He was an English footballer who played as a forward for Carlisle United in the Football League.

On August 5, 2005, Farrell signed a one-year contract with Conference National club Exeter City.

“The boys are confident, and we’ve got a really good team here,” Farrell stated shortly after joining Exeter, adding that the club has the belief and the right kind of players to succeed.

It reminds me a lot of the Carlisle United team I was promoted with last year. After scoring eight goals in 45 appearances for Exeter in the 2005–06 season, he was released in May 2006.

Craig Farrell, a former striker for Carlisle United and York City, died from an unidentified reason at the age of 39. After learning of Craig Farrell’s death, his family, friends, and admirers paid tribute to him.

Following the tragic news, condolences poured in for the former England young star on Monday evening.
