Dale Carnegie was born into poverty and into a poor upbringing where he was born to the American couple called Amanda Elizabeth Harbison, his mother and James Williams Carnagey, his father. He also had an older brother named Clifton Carnegie.

Dale Carnegie was also a father of two daughters, Rosemary and Donna Carnegie with his wife Dorothy Price Carnegie.

Dale Carnegie on his educational ladder attended State teacher’s college in Warrensburg and graduated in 1908. Three years later, Dale got enrolled in the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.
