In 2012, he was a third-team All-American while playing college basketball for the Weber State Wildcats.
He is the only player in Trail Blazers history to be selected to both the All-NBA Team and the All-Star Game six times. Lillard was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in October 2021, recognizing him as one of the greatest players in league history.
At Arroyo High School in San Lorenzo, California, where he started his high school career, Lillard joined the varsity starting lineup as a 5 feet 5 inches (1.65 m) freshman.
He continued to play for Orlando Watkins at Oakland High School, where his junior and senior years saw him make the First Team All-League.
Dame D.O.L.L.A., which stands for Different On Levels the Lord Allows, is Lillard’s stage name as a rapper and hip-hop artist.
