Damion Lee (born October 21, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for the National Basketball Association’s Phoenix Suns (NBA). Damion attended Drexel University for three years before transferring to Louisville for his last year of eligibility. In 2022, Lee won an NBA championship with the Golden State Warriors.

Lee started at point guard as a freshman for the Drexel Dragons men’s basketball team in 2011-12. Damion averaged 12 points and 4.4 rebounds that season. Damion was voted the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Rookie of the Year after an outstanding start to his college career. After averaging more than 15 points in Drexel’s three tournament games, he was chosen to the CAA All-Tournament team. The Dragons (25-5) were defeated by Virginia Commonwealth University in the CAA title game, 59-56. Most predictions had both teams making the NCAA tournament since VCU was a Final Four team the year before. The Dragons were the CAA regular season champion and #3 seed, but a dismal Selection Sunday resulted in their exclusion from the NCAA Tournament and acceptance of automatic admission to the 2012 National Invitation Tournament. The Dragons won over the University of Central Florida and the University of Northern Iowa before losing to the University of Massachusetts in the regional championship.
