Damion Lee (born October 21, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Damion played three years of college basketball at Drexel University before transferring to Louisville for his final year of eligibility. Lee won an NBA championship with the Golden State Warriors in 2022. Lee started at point guard for the Drexel Dragons men’s basketball team in 2011–12 during his rookie year. Damion averaged 12 points and 4.4 rebounds throughout that season. Damion was named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Rookie of the Year for his outstanding college career.

Damion was also chosen to the CAA All-Tournament team after averaging more than 15 points in Drexel’s three tournament games. The Dragons (25-5) were defeated 59-56 by Virginia Commonwealth University in the CAA title game. VCU was a Final Four team the previous year, and the majority of projections had both teams making the NCAA tournament. However, a disappointing Selection Sunday resulted in the Dragons receiving an automatic trip to the 2012 National Invitation Tournament as the CAA regular season winner and #3 seed rather than an invitation to the NCAA Tournament. Prior to losing to University of Massachusetts in the regional championship, the Dragons defeated the University of Central Florida and Northern Iowa.
