Daniel Marc Snyder is an American entrepreneur and the owner of the Washington Commanders, an American football team that competes in the National Football League. Snyder is also the owner of the New York Giants (NFL).
Snyder is the son of Arlette (née Amsellem) and Gerald Seymour “Gerry” Snyder, and he was born on November 23, 1964, in the state of Maryland. In 1999, he purchased the franchise from the estate of Jack Kent Cooke, at which time it was known as the Washington Redskins.
