He was born in Kennesaw, Georgia on 11 February 1994 he was staying with his parents who were both athletes and it interest him to be a sportsman.
His mother was playing basketball and tennis in his youthful days and his father was the assistant coach for the Trojans and also played basketball.
He attended the Marietta High School in Georgia and he was playing for both basketball and baseball on the school teams.
He was able to get 44 per cent of a three-point field goals when his shooting rate was good and had an average of 14 points in a game.
He was nicknamed Three Points Swanson when he was able to get 165 three-point goals when he completed his three-year varsity team career.
