Denver Broncos has decided to release the seasoned pass-rusher Frank Clark, according to a report by Ian Rapoport. This breakthrough was made possible by Clark’s agreement to take a pay cut only this week. For this to happen, Clark had to give up $1.7 million. Instead of dealing with him, the Broncos are releasing him, allowing him to sign with any team of his choosing as a free agent.

Clark had joined Denver in the summer with the goal of adding a talented pass rusher to strengthen their defense. Sadly, Clark’s time with the Broncos this season was confined to just two games. With his departure, he now joins Randy Gregory as the second veteran pass rusher to exit Denver in the previous week.

Here are some possible landing spots for Frank Clark–

  • San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers are now the best team in the NFL this season with a sizable lead. Their front seven has proven to be quite fierce, and adding a talented defensive lineman like Frank Clark would further strengthen their position as the best team. It makes sense for the squad to throw everything on the line after getting within a hair’s breadth of winning the Super Bowl, especially following a fantastic 5-0 start.

  • Kansas City Chiefs

Frank Clark has experienced the greatest success with the Kansas City Chiefs. Before moving to Denver, he was a member of the Chiefs. With this past, there’s good cause to think about a possible reunion—especially if it comes at an affordable price. Clark knows the players well and is well-versed in their defensive scheme.

  • Philadelphia Eagles

The defensive linemen on the Philadelphia Eagles are known for playing to their full capacity. The leading seven players in their system have a great chance of succeeding. In particular, if they want to contend with the formidable San Francisco 49ers, adding Frank Clark might prove to be a very important decision.
