Iconic and decorated Gospel Artiste and Pastor – Dr Sonnie Badu has rallied his support behind his colleague gospel artiste Diana Hamilton as VGMAs ceremony draws near.
The leader and founder of the fastest growing church in Atlanta said Diana Hamilton is working so hard and deserves to bag the prestigious Artiste of The Year award.
Speaking on it, Sonnie Badu said:
“I think Diana Hamilton should win the Artiste Of The Year award. I think she’s worked very hard.
She deserves it and will be the first female to win it. And when she wins, I will come out and congratulate her…Her Adom song has done very well”
Dr Sonnie Badu made the utterance while explaining the reason why he is closer to ‘circular’ artistes than a lot of gospel stars.
According to the ‘Baba’ crooner, he works with a lot of musicians outside the gospel fraternity and so, he has personal relations with them as he mentors a lot.
He mentioned the likes of Stonebwoy, KiDi, Kuami Eugene, etc.
Also, he said he has mentored a lot of gospel musicians who can choose to say what he has done for them among before adding that the ‘circular’ musicians also deserve to hear the gospel.
Dr Sonnie was quick to add that, his doors are open to building relations with gospel musicians especially those from Ghana.
