Black Warrior was a Mexican luchador professional wrestler who was born on January 7, 1969. On January 9, 2023, he passed away. López worked for nearly ten years under a variety of ring aliases, frequently with little success, before choosing the ring name “Black Warrior.”

Black Warrior’s sole well-known former ring persona was “Bronce,” a member of the “Los Metalicos” team who gained popularity in the early 1990s. “Bronce” is Spanish for “Bronze.” He joined forces with Plata and Oro. Lopez is the brother-in-law of Mano Negra, Jr. and the son-in-law of Mano Negra’s wife. He is also Luchador Blue Panther’s nephew.

In January 1984 at Durango’s Gómez Palacio, Lopez made his professional wrestling debut under the mask-wearing ring name “Destroyer.” López began performing for Empresa Mexicana de la Lucha Libre (EMLL, later known as Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, CMLL) in 1985 as “Camorra,” another masked character. He worked for EMLL from 1985 to 1988, but had little success.
