Former Pittsburg State star Dallis Flowers. He finished his career at Pitt State after playing for the Grand View Vikings in Des Moines, Iowa, where he was a two-time NAIA All-American.

Last fall, Flowers was selected for the second team All-MIAA as a kick returner and the first team as a defensive back. His average kickoff return at Pitt State was 33.7 yards, breaking the previous record held by former PSU All-American John Brown.

Flowers is expected to play cornerback and kick returner for Indianapolis. The former Gorilla joined the Colts as an undrafted free agent back in May after spending the entire season with Pittsburg State.

Dallis Flowers, a former football player for Grand View, graduated from Grand View University and crossed the stage to earn his diploma. He was also signed as an undrafted free agent by the Indianapolis Colts. After the Indianapolis Colts announced their final round of cuts prior to the NFL’s deadline for reducing rosters to 53 players on Tuesday, Flowers has been added to the team’s 53-man active roster.
