As a dancer in the 1980 picture Xanadu, Lattanzi made her feature film debut. Lattanzi married Olivia Newton-John in 1984 after they first met while filming the movie Xanadu. On January 17, 1986, Chloe Rose Lattanzi, the couple’s only child, was born. He accepted a position as a contractor for a California homebuilding firm in 1993, when his acting career was almost ended. In order for Newton-John to attend an audition for the soap series Paradise Beach, Lattanzi and Newton-John relocated to their property in Australia in 1993. He was awarded a six-month deal for the program.
