Ever heard of a ship sinking in the past decades, or I guess you have heard and watched the portrayal of a true story in the movie “Titanic” well there is more. Queen Mary, a relative ship with closeness in history-making to Titanic has made some waves recently. According to reliable sources at the time, the Queen Mary which has been the name of the said ship has had a very incredible and exciting life over the years. The ship was known to have been assembled in the year 1936 and has been in working existence for 30 years before it retired in the year 1967.
The mystery surrounding the existence of the ship indicates that it was assembled for the Cunard-White Star line and was designed to sail across the Atlantic at the time. It will interest you to know that the Ship’s sister was the RMS Queen Elizabeth.

It was recorded that, the Queen Mary was responsible for sinking the HMS Curaçao ship in the year 1942 and was able to survive that encounter herself. The ship that got sunk was its escort ship at the time.
