Parker Bowles’ name was changed with the birth of Camilla Rosemary Shand. On September 8, 2022, following the ascension of her husband and the passing of his mother, Elizabeth II, she was given the title of queen consort.

On July 17, 1947, Camilla Rosemary Shand was born at the King’s College Hospital in London. Camilla went to study abroad in Switzerland in addition to France and England. She was raised in East Sussex and South Kensington, both in England. After getting married in 1973, she divorced British Army officer Andrew Parker Bowles in 1995.

It is said that Prince Charles first met Camilla Shand in the middle of 1971. After Queen Elizabeth II passed away on September 8, 2022, Camilla succeeded her husband as King Charles III and inherited the title of queen consort. She and her stepson Prince William were present when Charles III was formally anointed king on September 10, 2022, during the Accession Council. The coronation of Charles III and Camilla is slated on May 6, 2023.
