Lipa started her music career in 2013, posting covers of popular songs on YouTube. She signed a record deal with Warner Bros, in 2015. She recorded and released her first single, “New Love.” Her self-titled debut studio album was released in 2017 and was a commercial success, she also went on, producing several hit singles including “Be the One,” “IDGAF,” and “New Rules.” In 2018, Lipa won the Brit Award for British Female Solo Artist, and was nominated for four Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist. She has also won several other awards, including an MTV Europe Music Award and a Billboard Music Award.
