Our favourite superhero siblings face up against Sparrow Academy students in The Umbrella Academy’s third season.

The Sparrows were adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves after 43 super-powered infants were born on October 1, 1989, all over the world, similar to how the Umbrellas were.

Ben was the only child from both groups who Reginald adopted in this scenario, which involved an entirely new set of kids.

The original Hargreeves brothers remain at Hotel Obsidian after becoming stuck in a timeframe where they don’t exist, and most of the drama takes place there.

The group quickly comes across a weird tunnel that turns out to be a gateway leading to Hotel Oblivion. It is revealed that Reginald created the hotel even though Oblivion is an exact replica of Obsidian.

It’s assumed that he did this to hide the gateway, which is guarded by a number of superhuman and somewhat dangerous soldiers.

Does Luther die in Umbrella Academy?

Luther comes to help his wife Sloane during their fight with the last guardian. He quickly turns out to be just a ghost that Klaus has called.

Ghost Luther chastises his father for murdering him after abandoning him on the moon for so long.

Luther’s moon expedition was actually guarding something valuable, as Reginald reveals (more on that later).

When a wounded Klaus is unable to contain Luther’s presence, Luther vanishes.
