If you’ve been on social media the past few days, you would realise that there has been a trending issue concerning award-winning Gospel musician, Sonnie Badu.
The Gospel singer cum Pastor posted photos of his academic achievements on social media.
By virtue of how far he has come, he qualifies to be called ‘Dr. Sonnie Badu PhD’.
However, a social media user @Ebenezer_NC feels the titles to his name are too much so he should simply identify himself as ‘Dr. Sonnie Badu or Sonnie Badu PhD’.
In a tweet directed at @SonnieBaduuk, the social media user wrote: “People it’s either ‘Dr Sonnie Badu or Sonnie Badu Ph.D’ and not Dr. Sonnie Badu Ph.D.”.
After seeing the tweet, the ‘Baba’ crooner replied accordingly.
In his reply, he told the follower that ”when you get yours you can do it how you want.. much love”
