Edward Keddar Nketiah is an English professional footballer, who plays as a striker for the Premier League team Arsenal, he was born on 30 May 1999. Nketiah made his debut in 2017 and started his career with Arsenal, he played on loan during Leeds United’s 2019–2020 Championship-winning season.

Nketiah was promoted to the first team on September 28, 2017, which was in time for Arsenal’s UEFA Europa League encounter against BATE Borisov. He replaced Joe Willock in the 89th minute as Arsenal prevailed 4-2.

Almost a month later, in the 85th minute of an EFL Cup match against Norwich City, he made his subsequent appearance. He tied the game after 15 seconds with his first touch and gave Arsenal the victory in extra time with another goal.

Nketiah was supposed to join German Bundesliga side FC Augsburg on loan in the January 2019 transfer window, but Danny Welbeck’s injury prevented that from happening, hence Nketiah remained at Arsenal.
