Eric Dick, an American soccer player born on October 3, 1994, plays for Minnesota United of Major League Soccer.
Dick moved from Roeland Park, Kansas, to Carmel, Indiana, when he was five years old. He played two seasons of collegiate soccer at Butler University between 2013 and 2017, one of which he redshirted. During his time at Butler, Dick had 28 shutouts.
Dick also played for the Portland Timbers U23s and OKC Energy U23s in the Premier Development League in 2015.
On January 19, 2018, Sporting Kansas City chose Dick in the first round (13th overall) of the 2018 MLS SuperDraft. Dick committed to join Sporting KC on February 15, 2018.
On June 24, 2021, Dick inked a loan agreement with Indy Eleven. Columbus decided to decline Dick’s contract option following the 2021 season.
Dick officially signed with Minnesota United FC on January 18, 2022 after being selected by the team in Stage 2 of the 2021 MLS Re-Entry Draft.
