On September 5, 1984, Erin Krakow, a producer and actor in Hollywood, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Before finishing her education at the Alexander W. Dreyfoos Jr School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Krakow studied theatre at the Juilliard School in New York City.

After finishing her studies, Erin Krakow began her acting career on stage with roles in The Importance of Being Earnest, George the Fourth, and Steel Magnolias.

Erin has appeared in a number of movies and TV shows, including Castle(2013), Chance at Romance (2014), A Cookie Cutter Christmas (2014), NCIS: Los Angeles (2015), Good Girls Revolt (2016), Finding Father Christmas (2016), NCIS (2017), Engaging Father Christmas (2017), Marrying Father Christmas (2018), A Summer Romance (2019), Sense, Sensibility & Snowmen (2019), and It Was Always You (2021).

She is also well known for her performances in the Lifetime television series Army Wives from 2010 to 2012 and for playing Elizabeth Thornton in the Hallmark television series When Calls the Heart from 2014 to the present.
