Erling Braut Haaland, a Norwegian professional football player who plays as a striker for Premier League club Manchester City and the Norway national team, was born on July 21, 2000. He is regarded as one of the top players in the world and is noted for his strength, speed, and finishing. Haaland played for Bryne’s reserve and senior teams after progressing through the junior system. He transferred to Molde in 2017 and played for them for two seasons and on their reserve team. Haaland won two league championships and one Austrian Cup before signing for Red Bull Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga in January 2019. He transferred to the German Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund in December 2019, where he won the DFB-Pokal in 2020–21
