Williamson was born on the 11th, of June, in 1997. He currently plays for Major League Soccer club Portland Timbers, as a midfielder, and he was named the Big Ten Midfielder of the Year, and also All-Big Ten First Team in 2017.
Williamson was a part of the D.C. United Academy and he was ineligible for the MLS SuperDraft, before being traded to the Portland Timbers in January 2018.
However, he was linked with a move to Schalke in early 2018, but there was no offer made. He made his professional debut on April 4, 2018, as a member of the Portland Timbers 2 against Tulsa, and scored his first goal on May 12, 2018, against Tacoma.
