According to the Los Angeles Times, the parents of 18-year-old Tokata Iron Eyes were given a protective order against actor Ezra Miller, but law enforcement has been unable to locate the actor.
Miller is yet to be served with the documents accusing them of “physically and emotionally abusing” him.
The actor is accused by the parents of “psychologically influencing, physically intimidating, and endangering the safety and welfare of” their child, who has taken the surname Gibson and uses the pronouns they/them like Miller.
According to the order, Miller is barred from “contacting or harassing” the 18-year-old or their parents, and they must stay 100 yards away from the family’s home until a July 12 hearing. If Miller fails to appear at the hearing, the court will give the restraining order’s “relief requested.”
Miller’s current whereabouts, on the other hand, are unclear.
“They travel about so much,” Chase Iron Eyes, an attorney and activist, told the newspaper, “that we’re trapped in this legal limbo scenario, and we can’t serve them in any place they’re in long enough.”
