Fifa World Cup host cities 2026
FIFA unveiled the particular sites and cities that would host matches on June 16, 2022, at a press conference in New York City that was live streamed across the world.
FIFA chose 16 locations out of the 23 cities chosen by the United Bid to host World Cup matches in 2026.
The host venues will be located in three countries: eleven in the United States, three in Mexico, and two in Canada.
The Estadio Azteca in Mexico City and the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles have previously held World Cup finals.
Along with the Maracana in Brazil, the Estadio Azteca is one of only two stadiums in the world to have held two men’s World Cup finals.
