The National Football League’s Indianapolis Colts’ head coach most recently was Frank Michael Reich Jr., an American football coach and former quarterback who was born on December 4, 1961. (NFL). Previously, he spent 14 seasons in the NFL, mostly with the Buffalo Bills, who had taken him in the third round of the 1985 NFL Draft. The majority of Reich’s career was spent serving as Jim Kelly’s backup, but he came to prominence in the 1992–93 NFL playoffs when he guided the Bills to the league’s biggest comeback.
After his playing days were over, Reich began a coaching career in the NFL. In Super Bowl LII, he served as the offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles, who went on to win their first Super Bowl. He held assistant positions from 2008 through 2017. He became the Colts’ head coach the following year and guided them to two postseason appearances. He was fired halfway through the 2022 season due to his 3-5-1 start and weak offensive performance.
