In the autopsy reports of the victim Gabby Petito, Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue reported on Tuesday that strangulation was determined to be Gabby Petito’s cause of death and that homicide was determined to be the manner of death.
According to him, Petito’s death occurred between three and four weeks prior to the date her body was discovered in Wyoming’s Bridger-Teton National Forest on September 19.
The announcement made comes after a number of case developments. On September 22, the FBI in Denver officially confirmed that the bones discovered in Wyoming’s Bridger-Teton National Forest were from Petito, a 22-year-old woman who vanished while travelling with her fiancé, Brian Laundrie, to national parks.
