Ethan Kwame Colm Raymond Ampadu is a professional footballer who plays as a centre back or defensive midfielder for German club RB Leipzig, on loan from Chelsea, and the Wales national team. He made his senior debut for Wales in November 2017.
His father is a Ghanaian called Kwame Ampadu. He was also a footballer. Ampadu featured for clubs Arsenal, Swansea City, Leyton Orient and Exeter City in his playing career. He is currently the AS Monaco assistant manager.
