James Oduor aka Cobra who happened to be a Kenya-based Ghanaian Sports Journalist and LG Electronics employee has being confirmed dead following yesterday’s terror killings in Kenya.

According to AmeyawDebrah.com, Cobra, who worked at LG Company in the Customer Service Department situated at 14 Riverside, was trapped inside the offices on Tuesday evening when the attacks started.

Kenya Football Federation’s Nick Mwendwa led tributes for the man described by sports journalists as a ‘ray of hope’ in Kenyan football.

“Fare thee well my friend. Your good spirit will live on in football. You did your part. We shall do ours and remember you,” Mwendwa tweeted.

Renowned Sports Journalist, Saddick Adams also confirmed his death.

He tweeted:

“Sports Journalist and LG Electronics employee James Oduor is among those who have been confirmed dead following yesterday’s terror killings at 14 #Riversideattack in Nairobi. Rest well comrade.”

Coincidentally, today would have been his birthday. He is survived by his wife and one child.
