Graeme Pollock (born 2023-02-27 00:00:00, 1944) is one of the most celebrated cricketers in South African history. He was a left-handed batsman and part-time off-spinner who played for South Africa in 23 Test matches between 1963 and 1970.
Pollock made his debut for South Africa against Australia in 1963, scoring a century in his first innings. He went on to score centuries in his next three Test matches, becoming the first player to achieve this feat. He went on to score a total of eight Test centuries, and had an average of 60.97, the highest for any South African batsman at the time.
