A Nigerian woman Aribisala Blessing has taken to Twitter to celebrate after her husband got her a live fowl for Christmas.
Aribisala called her husband the best in the whole universe for his kind gesture.
She wrote:
“My husband is d best husband in d hole universe, he brought dis home dis morning. First Christmas festival as Mrs. My one and only may God prosper ur way and answer all ur silent prayer as u always make me happy. Thank u very much my darling husband”
Soon after her post, some people came trolling her that how much is ‘common fowl’ for her to be celebrating her husband for getting her one on Xmas day.
In reply to them, Aribisala said her husband is a security man who hasn’t been paid any salary for the past 4 years — since 2016.
So if he can manage to get her a live fowl for Xmas, she’s very grateful.
“I guess y’all don’t know where dis is coming from. …my husband is a security working on contract. he has been working and he hasn’t received any salary since 2016…if u don’t know he made my day. So stop dragging”
