Washington, Sep 28 (IANS) A football player was killed and three others were harmed after shooters trapped them outside a secondary school in Philadelphia, the US province of Pennsylvania, police said.

The shooting occurred on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. neighborhood time outside Roxborough Secondary School, supposedly after a football scrimmage finished.

Police added that the players were strolling off the field when tenants of a vehicle trapped them, Xinhua news organization detailed.

Officials found two 14-year-olds, a 17-year-old, and another casualty experiencing discharge wounds, as per starter data from specialists.

The casualties were taken to the medical clinic. One of the 14-year-olds, a male, was articulated dead later.

No captures have been made.
