On October 22, 1950, Harry Gration was born. He was a radio and journalist from England. He served as one of the show’s primary hosts for the Look North regional magazine program from BBC Yorkshire.
In 1982, Gration began airing Look North.
Even though he briefly co-hosted BBC South Today from 1995 to 1999 with Sally Taylor, Gration had been broadcasting for the BBC for 40 years as of 2018. Along with Christa Ackroyd, Judith Stamper, Clare Frisby, and Amy Garcia, he co-anchored a recent television show.
In 2010, he was a guest on Top Gear. Jeremy Clarkson smashes a Reliant Robin in the foreground while purportedly reporting from Braithwell.
Harry was blessed with six children in his three marriages. His last marriage was with Helen Gration.
In the 2013 Birthday Honours, Gration received the designation of Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to broadcasting.
