Carrie White was born Carole Enwright on August 25, 1943, in Beverly Hills, California, USA. She was an American hairdresser, Author and Spokesperson. Carrie was well known as the “First Lady of Hairdressing” who styled the hair of Hollywood personalities like Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, and Goldie Hawn just to mention but a few.

According to sources, she started her career as a hairdresser in 1964 in Beverly Hills. Carrie White was credited as a technical advisor on Shampoo.

She also published her autobiography, “Upper Cut: Highlights of My Hollywood Life” in 2011. She was also the CEO of Carrie White Hair in Beverly Hills.

To her credit, she was given the following honours;

  • Scholarship to Chouinard Art Institute
  • Friendly House Extraordinary Service Award
  • Writers in Treatment Experience, Strength and Hope Award
  • Carrie White ended her journey on earth on May 3, 2022, in Los Angeles, California.

Carrie’s death was confirmed by her long time friend, Loree Rodkin, to The Hollywood Reporter. The cause of her death has not yet been revealed to the public.
