Ghanaian actor and comedian, Bismark The Joke, has stated emphatically without mincing words that most local celebrities are going through financial stress in this lockdown.
According to him, the public must consider the financial standing of any celebrity before they pressure him to donate to needy ones.
Bismark The Joke opined that the breakdown of the movie industry coupled with a mandatory lockdown has exacerbated the sufferings of most people we see as celebrities.
In an interview with Neat FM, he added that the image the society has created for celebrities has made it impossible for the,m to voice out their problems.
“I’m telling you the truth, a lot of celebs are suffering but there is no one to speak for them,” he said.
Bismark The Joke expressed hope to see the Coronavirus and the lockdown come to a close quickly for normal life to resume.
