Balwinder Safri was a UK based singer who was born in Punjab. He resided in Birmingham, England in the United Kingdom. He made Punjabi songs. In 1990, Safri formed the Safri Boyz Band.

Balwinder Safri died on 26 July 2022 at age 63 in England. The news of his death was confirmed by Guru Randhawa, a Punjabi singer, on his Instagram page.

He is survived by his wife, Nikki Davitt, and daughter, Priya Kumari.

How did Balwinder Safri die?

According to sources, Balwinder Safri was battling a heart related disease of which he went through surgery for its treatment in April 2022. He later suffered a brain damage as a result of the surgery which cause him to fall into a comatose state for a period of time at the New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton. He was later moved to a rehabilitation centre where he passed away.
