When did Bennington start singing with the group Sean Dowdell & His Friends? and in 1993, they jointly released a three-track cassette with the same name.
Later, Dowdell and Bennington started a new post-grunge band called Grey Daze in Phoenix, Arizona. In addition to two albums—Wake Me in 1994 and…No Sun Today in 1997—the band also released a demo in 1993. In 1998, Bennington disbanded Grey Daze.

Following their divorce from Samantha Marie Olit, Chester Bennington attended a party where Ryan Shuck met Talinda Ann Bentley, a teacher who had twice appeared for Playboy back in her undergraduate days.
Talinda Ann Bentley was introduced to Chester by Ryan. They clicked right away, and Chester quickly called a buddy to announce his engagement to the woman he had just met.
Though his friend believed he was insane, she moved in with Chester around a week and a half after they first met. On December 31, 2005, the two got married, and Bentley gave birth to their first baby three months later.
