How did Ime Udoka meet Nia Long?
Ime Udoka and Nia long first met in 2010 in Boston, they clicked right away, after work brought them both to Boston by happenstance, the Fatal Affair actress and the former NBA star first met after being introduced by a mutual friend, and the couple remained together despite Udoka’s NBA coaching gigs bringing him to cities like San Antonio, Philadelphia, and Brooklyn and Long’s acting career having her film all over the country.
Nia Long and Ime Udoka got engaged in June 2015 after giving birth to a boy together in November 2011. Later in June 2021, the two made another trip back to Boston, but this time Udoka was head coach of the Boston Celtics.
Nia Long posted this on her social media: “We both have beautiful careers,” Long said after Udoka nabbed the head coaching position. “The thing that I think makes it work for us is we give each other the space and time to do what we have to do individually, as well as together.”
