How did James Corden meet Julia Carey?
In 2009, James met Julia at a Save the Children event. At the time, Julia worked for the organization. James was reluctant to attend the event, but actor Dominic Cooper pushed him to go.
“I said, ‘Hi, Jules. You may be the most gorgeous woman in the world,'” James remembered in a People interview in June 2018. “She said, ‘Well, thank you. That sounds like something you frequently say. That was the end of it. I was present. And by a miraculous occurrence, so was she.”
