Keith Levene is certainly a name which deserves his place alongside Rock music greats as his contribution to the growth of the genre is one we cannot stress enough. Keith was born on the 18th of July 1957 in Muswell Hill, London.
His ancestry traces to Jew as his Father was Jewish and since an early stage in his life, Keith had a strong obsession for Rock music and indeed seemed destined for greatness.
Greatness did he achieve as he founded what would become a very powerful band, The Clash. Not only was he a founding member of ‘The Clash’ but he also was instrumental in the formation of ‘The Flowers of Romance’ and until his death, was a creative writer behind countless of the group’s hit songs.

He died on the 11th of November 2022 in his home. At the time of his death, Keith was battling Liver cancer.
