How did Rashard Anderson die?
In the 2000 NFL Draft, Anderson was selected with the 23rd overall pick. After playing with the Panthers from 2000–2001, the former Jackson State star competed for the Calgary Stampedes in 2005.
We’re thinking about his friends and family. Anderson hailed from Forest, Mississippi. He was a star at Forest High before going to Jackson State.
The last teammates from JSU to be selected in the first round of the NFL Draft were Walter Payton and Robert Brazile in 1975. Anderson and receiver Sylvester Morris were the most recent pair.
