William Ray Guy was an American professional football player who was a punter for the Oakland / Los Angeles Raiders of the National Football League. He had his education at Thomson High School and later at Chicago College.

Guy passed away after a protracted illness, according to Southern Mississippi, the school where he excelled before being selected as the first punter ever in the first round of the NFL draft. He has been receiving treatment in a hospice in the Hattiesburg region.
