Ron Logan, an American businessman who served as the former executive vice president of Walt Disney Entertainment (now Walt Disney Creative Entertainment), died on August 30, 2022. He was once a lecturer at the University of Central Florida Rosen College of Hospitality Management in Orlando, Florida, until resigning from the organization in 2001.
Logan graduated from UCLA with a BA and an MA in music and music instruction. He was a founding member of the corporate advisory board for the International Association of Jazz Educators, the International Foundation for Jazz, a classical music institution. He was on the boards of the Famous People Players (Canada), the International Theatre in Long Beach, California, and the Orlando Repertory Theatre.
Logan received the Disney Legends Award in 2007, which is given to people who have had a major influence on The Walt Disney Company.
