Bode Miller wouldn’t have imagined the career he has had when he started Ice skiing as a young boy in 1996 in the mountainous area of Franconia where he lived with his parents (Woody Miller and Jo Kenny). Bode was born in 1977 on the 12th of October and lived with two other siblings of his which include an older sister and a younger brother. He was home-schooled until his third when he was sent to public school. Bode was said to be a shy kid in school but was academically gifted and would also start showing his potential in Ice skiing and would eventually end up representing the United States in the 1998 Ice ski world championships.
How Good Is Bode Miller?
For a man who to this day is the most successful male American alpine ski racer of all time speaks volumes about just how good he was. In 2008 and 2005, he was an overall world champion and also an Olympic and World champion gold medalist.
